The Oasis Monitor Vending Machine (MVM) is a computer-based gaming system. The system allows players to buy a ticket from a pack of tickets referred to as a "game deal". Each game deal contains a fixed number of winning and non-winning tickets. The percentage of money distributed to players is predetermined and known for each game deal.

Players have a choice of playing a ticket from one of six different game deals. Once the game is chosen, the player will press the PLAY button and the game symbols will "spin". If the final symbol combination matches a combination shown in the pay table profile, the player wins that amount.

The entire system is automated, so a greater level of security, accountability, and integrity is possible. The MVM tracks all transactions and retains all sales information. Oasis uploads this sales information directly from the MVM every night via modem communication and displays the information for you on the Oasis Gaming Operators Reports website
